My entire life has been blessed (or cursed) with incredibly fine, dry hair. Over the years I have found the nourishing shampoos and conditioners of Dove or L’Oreal to work best at keeping my fine hair moisturized without adding weight. And outside of my few trips per year to the salon, my hair has always lacked a certain lustre & shine.
[What is it about hair salons that just bring out the best in your hair? If you are like me you don't want to wash it for days because it always looks so amazing after you leave the salon!]
On a recent trip to Boots to get a new can of hairspray, I noticed a new L’Oreal product on the shelf and figured since it was on sale I’d give it a shot. This is quite possibly the BEST hair product I’ve purchased, Do you want no-fuss, luscious locks with incredibly high shine? (Of course you do!) Well, look no further than the L’oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil mist.
For it to be an oil, it has a lot of serum-esk properties! You can use it before you shampoo to lock in moisture, before you blow-dry to add high shine, or as a finishing touch for luscious locks. It smells lovely thanks to the botanical mixture and is delightfully non-greasy given it is an oil. Just take off the top, mist onto your hair, comb your hair, and go about your routine. SO SIMPLE. There really is no fuss to this absolutely amazing new product.
There are three different types: one mist for fine hair to add weightless shine & softness (pictured above), one mist for coloured hair to protect against colour fade from UV rays, and one mist for all normal hair types.
This product has been a life saver for my hair. Not only does it provide me with high-shine results with every single use, the oils also act as an additional conditioning layer thereby making my hair softer & keeping it healthier by providing moisture to the ends of my dry hair. I’m highly recommending it to all of you.
This is just simply a product you shouldn’t be without. I’m even contemplating a giveaway to spread the love! It is the holiday season after all, and from what I can tell, this product isn’t available in the U.S. just yet. UK & Ireland readers, head on over to your nearest Boots or visit online here (UK) or here (Ireland) to snag this product for yourself. You will thank me later!
Have you tried this product yet? What do you think?
